Five historic governance benchmarks ensuring 100% financial security for members and zero conflict of interest:
The individual serving as the Chairman/Director of the Society is strictly prohibited from taking any type of loan from the institution, with the sole exception of a loan against their own fixed deposits.
The individual serving as the Chairman of the Society is strictly entitled to zero allowances, zero sitting fees, and zero financial benefits from the institution.
Maximum loan limit for an individual director (excluding gold loans) is ₹5 Lakhs. Furthermore, the aggregate total loan amount sanctioned to all directors combined shall be strictly less than 15% of the Society's total share capital.
If under exceptional circumstances an unsecured loan is to be sanctioned to a director, it strictly requires 100% unanimous approval from both the Board of Directors and the Advisory Council. Furthermore, the sitting Chairman of the Society shall be personally and individually held liable for the complete recovery of any unsecured loan disbursed to a director.
Except for vehicle loans, monthly compound interest will not be charged on any other loans. Instead, interest will be computed and charged only once a year in a straightforward, transparent manner. This eliminates monthly compound interest burdens and keeps financial planning easy and predictable for borrowers.
